A Little Extra, Inc is a new 501c3 Non Profit organization dedicated to helping close the gap on paying for health care for companion animals.

If you have a little extra, you give it. If you need a little extra, you get it.

This past year we have helped cover the cost of heart surgery for a puppy that was adopted out by a local rescue which shall not be named but I won't ever support again, several surgeries for injured cats found by good samaritans, a life saving surgery for a retired K9 in our community, a special procedure for a beloved dog with a chronic sinus problem, medicine for a little of kittens with bad tummies, an amputation for a kitty who was shot, and more.

And, sadly, sometimes we cover the humane euthanasia for pets that deserve to be released from this mortal coil with love and kindness and compassion.

Every request for help is fully vetted (no pun) by Willow Animal Hospital doctors and myself and there is a soft expectation that recipients of the Fund will figure out a way to build the fund back up again.
