Keeping My Home

Donation protected
Update with more detailed description: Last year was a terrible year, but thanks to kind hearts, I was able to raise $3000 to allow me to keep my home. Well, it was actually quite a bit less than that due to GFM fees, but anyway, it was enough at the time. Unfortunately, this year has been even worse, and all the money I raised is gone, spent on one major unexpected expense after another. Pet health issues, car problems, and, most recently, home repairs. I tried getting a second job, even seasonal work, but my few free hours never mesh with what they need, so no luck there. I'm also creative and make jewelry and have an online t-shirt shop, but I'm not selling enough to make any kind of real contribution to my money problems. I therefore had  no choice but to reopen my Go Fund Me campaign and ask once again for your help.

I am so ashamed by all of this. What you all must think of me--that I'm selfish and lazy and asking for handouts instead of earning my pay. But I AM a hard worker and I've done every thing I can think of to try and get more money coming in. I've even sold stuff I own, but it's just not enough. It seems like no matter what I do, I just can't get ahead. So please know that asking for your help is a last resort. I don't want to bother anyone. I just want to get out of this mess.

Please help if you are able, whether by donation, spreading the word, or praying for me and my two cats. Thank you and please take care!

Hello, my name is Jen, and I've had a rough year. A lot of people have, I know, and I hope that they will find help, too. Right now, I need yours. The crazy train I've been riding on just passed Wit's End and is now barreling toward Last Chance Junction. That's why I'm here.

Thanks to several medical problems, not to mention the cost of my prescriptions and copays skyrocketing, I've pretty much depleted my meager savings. I work hard at a job I love but get paid too little for, and I have been applying for different jobs for over a year now, but so far, no luck. I also can't work a second job thanks to those same medical problems. Basically, I'm stuck where I am, without enough money to pay for all those meds, plus keep a roof over my head for me and my two rescue cats (one of which is pictured above). Oh and both cats have their own medical problems, so they have special prescriptions of their own, which means more money I don't have, and...yeah. I think you're starting to get the picture.

I don't go out pretty much ever anymore; can't afford to. I've cut out every extra expense I can, sold whatever I could, even refinanced the mortgage on my condo, anything to get more money coming in. Unfortunately, all of my hard work and sacrifices STILL were not enough. Then on top of all that, my furnace had to be replaced. That took several paychecks to pay for, with nothing left over. I don't know what else to do. I can't give up my cats--one, they're family, and two, the one pictured above is 14, and we all know how well older cats DON'T get adopted. I'm not doing that to them. But I can't give up my needs, either. I need my meds. I need my home. But the bank needs its payments, and if I don't get some more money, and PRONTO, I won't be able to make those payments.

Please, if you can spare anything, I humbly ask that you consider my request for help.  I know money is tight for everyone these days, but this is my last chance. It's down to my health or my home. With your help, I'll be able to keep both. Thank you for your time. Please take care!
