Help Jeremiah raise money for prosthetic legs
Donation protected
Hey, I am Nehemiah, The brother of Jeremiah Washington. On Saturday, June 25th, we were involved in a devastating accident as we parked in a residential area outside his apartment home. I was inside the vehicle's driver's seat when this tragedy occurred, and Jeremiah was in the trunk grabbing his belongings. On this warm, peaceful day, a drunk driver rear-ended us while Jeremiah was outside the vehicle which pinned him against my car. The driver attempted to flee the scene but was later apprehended by the police. The only charge they have given this suspect is attempting to flee the scene of a major car accident. By the grace of god my brother is still alive with life changing injuries. Both legs have been badly broken. The surgeon who operated on my brother's legs compared it to someone in war and said his legs were practically amputated on impact. After multiple surgeries, there was nothing more to do, so he had a double amputee. My brother's life since this day has forever changed; he’s 23 years old, he has an eight-month year old son he is fighting to stay vital for. Any proceeds donated will go towards medical bills, Prosthetic Legs so he can enjoy his son’s child hood and still be able to play sports and kick a ball with him, and any financial help throughout his battle. The battle isn't over, and we will fight for justice as the suspect is a multiple DUI offender. Our family feels to be failed. I want to thank you in advance.
Love All,
Nehemiah Washington
