Jeremy Brown for Medical Expenses

Please find it in your heart to help Jeremy Brown. Jeremy is my nephew and was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer that has spread to his Liver. This was a surprise as we have no family history of this cancer, and Jeremy is only 39 years old. His diagnosis was in June of this year, and as of today, he has already had three surgeries. There will be several more surgeries in the coming months as well as the start of his chemo treatments. Thankfully, Jeremy does work and has insurance that covers cancer. However, his out-of-pocket expenses are not something he can pay on his own. He is fortunate to get the best care from MD Anderson in Houston, TX. However, this presents its own challenges as Jeremy lives in Alabama. His out-of-pocket costs will include meeting his annual deductible of $8000 along with travel expenses, including numerous trips to Houston (flights, hotels, etc.). Jeremy has devoted the last ten years to working with adults and children with intellectual disabilities; I believe this is a noble cause.
