Jeremy Fass Road to Recovery

My name is Jaclyn Tirmizi, I am raising money for my brother in law, Jeremy Fass, my sister Crystal and their family for medical bills and travel expenses for care.

Jeremy is a veteran, son, husband, father, grandpa, brother and friend to so many. He owns businesses in Mojave county, supports local communities, and will answer to help you no matter what. He is everything to everyone and his wife, Crystal Fass and their children Sloan, Fiona, Ariana and Dylan will use the funds for medical bills, traveling for care to Vegas and Phoenix.

On December 16, Jeremy was air lifted to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas after sustaining a head injury from a fall that resulted in a brain injury. Since then he has been in the Neuro Trauma ICU and has had a few set backs, but also a lot of positive progression. Jeremy has been fighting everyday to improve his oxygen level, keep his vitals stable and maintain progress.

His improvements are based on the Glasgow Coma scale that ranges from 3-15, the more he moves, the higher the number. He had been at a level 3 for several days and the medical staff had given up on him. Since then, through all of the prayers and love sent to him and aggressive advocacy for his care by his friends and family, the number has since improved and has been between 8-11 (on Glasgow scale ranging from 3-15) for the past 2 days. Jeremy has started to open his eyes, respond to touch and sounds and has been able to move- give a thumbs up and wiggle his toes. Everyday there is new positive improvements that we thank God for.

Jeremy also had a tracheotomy done to relieve some pressure on his lungs and allow for healing while still being able to partially breathe with the help of ventilation.

As Jeremy progresses and has continued improvements, he is in need of Neuro Acute Rehab.

Crystal and family are currently working to have him transferred to a Facility in Phoenix where Jeremy will go through various therapies to prepare him to go home and be with his family. This has not been easy for anyone who knows Jeremy but especially for his wife and children. The road to recovery for Jeremy will be long but we are praying that the road is only uphill.
