Jeremy Jason Irwin

Hi, my name is Hope. I am trying to raise money so I can lay my step uncle to rest. Jeremy was 44 years old. He had never been married and he didnt have kids. He was like a big kid. His mother passed away in January. She was my paw-paws ex wife. Paw-Paw took care of her when she was diagnosed with lung cancer. Jeremy has two living uncles. Neither one really cares to even try to help me and paw-paw to get him cremated or something. He passed away on July 28th, 23. The thought of your loved one laying in a freezer, cold and all alone. We live in Alabama. I called and claimed the body. I asked the coroner how I could file him as indigent, so the state would help us to get him layed to rest. They told me that since he didnt die at the hospital or a facility I wouldnt be able to file him as indigent. I emailed the DHR. They told me to call the funeral home and ask for a Pauper burial. And gave me some in our area that did those type of burials. I called and the lady told me that the Pauper burial was only for someone that didnt have any relatives. I keep hitting brick wall. Funeral homes will not take any type of payment arrangements. NO ONE CARES. WE NEED HELP.

They will not even get him from the city morgue until the money is paid. This isnt right. What is this world coming to that because you are poor, have no assets, lived in government housing and dont have a blood relative that cares if your dead or alive. God I pray that you put it in the hearts of someone reading this to help lay my late uncle to rest. We dont have to have a proper funeral service. All we need is to have his remains tooken care of so we can mourn.
