Jeremy Pederson- Cancer Fight

CURRENT UPDATE AUGUST 2024-

Hey guys. I’m updating here because I know so many of you love my dad and want to know what’s happening. First off, every single donation here got my dad into oxygen therapy on a regular basis so THANK YOU.

This is a medical update as of now.

Unfortunately, my dad’s cancer is aggressive. So aggressive that it has become castrate resistant. Which in normal terms means that his body isn’t responding to the big pills he had to take to get his PSA and testosterone under control. His PSA did lower to a 4…. However it gradually increased and is now above 80. Which means his cancer isn’t responding.

So, our next step is chemotherapy sadly. My dad does not want to do this and is very scared. He starts chemo Wednesday, and will be doing it for almost 8 months. We are prayerful that it will work.

Basically, I am begging for your prayers and support. This has been a brutal experience. Watching someone respond with an attitude of gratitude like my dad has, has been the most humbling experience of my adult life. However, this is hard. I am asking for prayers, support, guidance, and love for him and our family. My mom is working well over full time to try and carry our family and so is my husband. That being said, finances come and go, what we need is prayers. And prayers with the belief that our good and gracious God CAN heal my dad.. that cancer is not his story. That I believe in my heart that the lord has my dad in his hand and that we can get through this.

I knew yall deserved an update, so this is what the future looks like for us! If you would like to come with my dad and play games or be his companion during chemo, we would love that.
