Jeremy Venable and his family

Hi, we are doing a fundraiser for Jeremy. Several months back Jeremy had a stroke at the age of 47. The stroke has left him extremely weak on his right side, cannot really use his right hand/arm, has difficulty walking with a cane and struggles to speak clearly. Jeremy had his stroke while doing what he always does, and that is Helping Others. He was the lead person for Shell Geismar's United Way team and was leading the effort at the Downtown Baton Rouge United Way Jambalaya Jam when tragedy struck. This event has and will continue to impact and affect Jeremy's quality of life as well as that of his family. and compounding the issue, this past week, Jeremy fell and has broken his right hip.

For those who know Jeremy, he's totally selfless, always doing for others and never thinking of himself. He is the epitome of Jesus' command to "Love one Another". A few years back he broke his foot falling off a roof helping a friend with some home repairs. He has constantly gone out of his way to help others. At this time in his life, we are asking for others to pay him back and help him and his family.
