Jeremy's New Chompers

Anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows it is not easy for me to ask for help. I seldom share bad news or talk about tough times as I know everyone is going through them. The time has come for me to ask for some help. I hope that alone stresses the gravity of the situation. Approximately 3 years ago my longtime doctor informed me I had Type 2 Diabetes. I had not taken care of myself for quite some time. I would say I have always put other people before myself. I have always tried my best to be there for not only my brothers but for anyone in need. Well, my doctor looked at me and said this is your life but if you don't make changes right now your quality and length of life are going to directly suffer. I almost immediately after that started losing sight out of my left eye. I honestly had given up almost all hope on myself. It was my friends and coworkers who gave me the motivation to make some neccessary life changes. I started eating better and being more active. I have lost over 90LBS to date and regained almost all of my eyesite back in my left eye. The current problem is my teeth and gums are in poor shape. It is as if the diabetes has aged my gums 30 years since I was diagnosed. Many of my teeth are loose and it makes eating and talking very difficult. I currently have to wear a retainer on the bottom teeth just to help keep them in place. After doing a ton of research and visiting multiple dentists and periodontists I have decided that dentures are not the best longterm plan but dental implants are the better option. This is expensive as insurance does not cover hardly any of the costs. The procedure will cost me $46,000-$48,000. So here I am asking for help. I can't begin to explain how much a positive effect this procedure will have on my life. From my ability to eat, talk, or just be comfortable in my own skin again.
