Jeri McCormick's Recovery and Healing

Hi, my name is Kristie Powers and I am fundraising for Jeri McCormick - my friend and a fellow STM Rebel. On January 17, Jeri began experiencing stomach pain which resulted in a trip to the ER, the discovery of a ruptured colon and a life-saving emergency surgery. She is currently recovering at Holy Family Hospital and is hoping to be released to her home within the week. She will require consistent in-home nursing care for the foreseeable future.

This is going to be a significant adjustment for Jeri, who is always on the go. In addition to raising her granddaughter Jaylynn, Jeri works as a Certified Nursing Assistant, volunteers weekly in the cafeteria at Jaylynn's school, serves on the STM Auction Procurement team, and coordinates a pet food and supply drive for our local shelters. She has a servant's spirit and a heart of gold.
