Hi my name is Mary Grootenboer and I’m fundraising for my sister Laura Gesel and her 11 year old son Jericho. On September 17th Jericho was brought to the urgent care In Littleton because he hadn’t been feeling well. It was discovered that he has a large brain tumor that is cancerous and required immediate medical attention. He was rushed to the bostons children hospital where they had to preform an immediate craniectomy because the tumor was preventing the spinal fluid to drain which was causing an excessive pressure build up in his head. Jericho has to have six round of chemotherapy in hopes that it will shrink the tumor or hopefully get rid of it completely. If chemotherapy doesn’t work they will have to do surgery to try and remove the tumor which will be followed by radiation.

My sister and family are experiencing incredibly hard times right now and I’m asking for help and support from our local community. Prayers are needed more than ever for Jericho and his family. He is an amazing, bright, funny, strong little man and he will beat this. What ever donations are greatly appreciated and we thank you from the bottoms of our heart's.
