Jerod was going Northbound on Duncan bypass, heading home from work, and there was a head-on collision. Jerod was pulled from the car with the Jaws of life. He was taken to OU Medical Center in okc by med flight, where he had 2 emergency surgeries. There they repaired a puncture wound in his small intestents. Jerod has a broken back on his L3 that they are letting heal on its own.

Jerod has a long road to recovery. Jerod is the primary income in the family, and he has 2 small children and a wife, Shannon.
