Hi everyone! I am reaching out on behalf of my Uncle Jerry. On May 5th, he had a ruptured aneurysm that caused him to be air lifted to Henry Ford for emergency operation to save his life. With fast action from the medical team and the power of prayers, his surgery was thankfully a success.

He is home now and getting stronger everyday, little by little. He is not able to care for himself just yet. The doctors warned him it would be a long road to recovery because of how intense the surgery was. He is working on getting his legs stronger to stand and walk again, his speech to be louder (voice is not as loud from being on the ventilator), and arms to be able to pick himself back up again.

I decided to start this go fund me to help with medical expenses that continue to stack up. Linda is not only being a full time cheerleader…but a caregiver for her husband. I feel this is one of the many stresses we can help with so Jerry and Linda can focus on the big prize…RECOVERY and not worry sick about finances.

Uncle Jerry is such a fighter and all the kind words mean the world to him! Everyone has been amazing so far and that’s what honestly makes him fight harder!
