Jerry Chambers

Monday morning my stepdad, Jerry Chambers, went into the hospital for a quick routine surgery. He and my mother Cara should have been home before lunch. They should have had theor shoes kicked off, curled up in their lazy boys and binging their favorite new series. Instead a simple surgery turned into a horrible situation where Jerry would spend the next 12 hours fighting for his life. By 10 pm that same Monday Mom was standing next to his bed side whispering her goodbyes.

Next Monday we are laying Jerry to rest. We should have had more time. More songs. More life. In light of his untimely passing we are raising funds to help cover funeral expenses. Thank you for your consideration & generosity in helping us honor the man that he was and all he contributed to our lives, to rock n' roll and to Kansas City.

The funeral will be held Monday Oct 10 @ the Amos Funeral Home in Shawnee KS.

Visitation is from 10 am - 12 and the funeral service begins at noon. You're all welcome to come remember his life, his music & who he was to all of us.
