Jerry Eckman drag racing legend funeral

Hello, my name is David Neudecker. I'm raising money for my mother Marsha. She is Jerry Eckman's wife. Jerry passed away this Christmas Eve morning at 12:25 am. Jerry was a drag racing legend with many pro-stock wins under his belt. He drove for Bill Orndorff Racing and had Pennzoil as a major sponsor. Jerry was also in the Army during the Vietnam war.

He spoke very highly of his racing days, he might have been racing's biggest fan. He was always more than willing to sign an autograph & enjoyed it when he would receive letters (to this day, even Christmas cards). Jerry has a lot of fans out there & I'm proud to be in that crowd. He was one of the most generous people I've met, he even gave me a car in 2019!

I'm only trying to raise the needed money for a nice service. If there is anything extra, it would be split between Hospice of Central Ohio and the local VA in Newark, Ohio in Jerry's name. I feel like he would have done anything for me, so I'd like to try to return even a portion of his kindness and I know he would like to help veterans and the fine people at Hospice.
