Jerry Gross

We Are Co-workers banding together to make a Go Fund Me for Our Co-worker Jerry Gross. He passed suddenly, leaving behind his wife and four kids. He has worked at our company for many years and has been nothing but true to himself, striving every day to work hard for his family. Any donation would be greatly appreciated to help the family during this difficult time. The Proceeds will be given to his wife, Cecelia Mead Gross. Jerry Andrew Gross, 41, of Niles, MI, passed away unexpectedly from an apparent heart attack at 11:50 pm on Sunday, June 19, at his residence. He was born on March 23, 1981 in Goshen, IN to Johnnie Andrew and Jane Elaine (Cline) Gross. On June 30, 2007 in Middlebury, he married Cecelia Mead, she survives. Survivors in addition to his wife are two daughters, Brooke Polly of South Bend and Rylie Gross of Niles; two sons, Brayton Gross and Tim Polly both of Niles; mother, Jane Elaine Mauck of Bristol; sister, Jeanne (Shannon) Fulks of Middlebury; nieces, Isabella and Alaina and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father. Jerry had worked as a car salesman for many years and was currently employed at Gates Automotive Group in Granger. He enjoyed spending time outside especially when he could be fishing, playing corn hole, or building bonfires. He liked baseball and was an avid fan of Notre Dame and the Chicago Cubs. He appreciated a good Jim Beam and collected their swag. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, including his extended family, and would often grill out for them. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 23, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 South Main Street Middlebury, IN. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Friday, June 24, also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Vistula Cemetery, Bristol. Memorials may be given to Shriners Hospital, who had offered Jerry support throughout his life.
