Jerry Stephen Crocker—“Papa”—a resident of Oxnard and a proud U.S. Navy Seabee Veteran (of the Vietnam war), passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 27th at Saint John’s Hospital after a brief and sudden illness. He was loved dearly and will be missed immensely. Papa always came to the rescue of anyone who needed a helping hand. He was active in several clubs, and he enjoyed computers, motorcycles, metal detecting, drones, photography and loved his Smart cars.
He’s survived by his loving wife, who he spent the last 45 years of his life with and who misses him so very much; Robyn Crocker, his sister; Joan Roberson, two half-brothers; George Jr. and Tommy, and their children, his children; Stephanie, Rhonda and Dawn, his sons in law; Gerald (Zerph) and Rico, grandchildren; Angelina, Amanda, Amethyst, Chloe, Ashley, Jacob and Caleb, Nathan, Lia, Cammy, and Audrey. As well as the family cat, Wolfie, who is completely lost without him.
There won’t be a day that passes that we won’t think of him, miss him and be grateful that he was in our lives. Funeral & Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, October 19th between 10:00 AM-1:00 PM at Camino del Sol Funeral Home in Oxnard. Any and all donations would be lovely and helpful. All monies will be going to my mom Robyn to cover the Funeral expenses and fees that this tragedy has brought. Thank you so very much.
