In 2016 our dad thought he was battling a muscle spasm. He couldn't sleep in his bed. He tried the chiropractor with no avail. It got worse. His appetite was nothing and we noticed a severe weightloss. Finally, got him to go see a doctor and they ran tests.
A week later, we got results. His PSA was over 800 and they wanted to act fast. He was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. Found that it was in his spine, hip bones and shoulders. This was the pain he had been experiencing, not muscle spasms.
He is now going through chemo and is done with radiation. He gets regular blood draws and bone shots. The bills are coming in and as he is on S.S and Medicare, he still is finding it hard to pay the remainder. We don't know the extent of his bills yet. Would like to help fund him anyway possible.
All funds exceding his bills will be donated to St. Jude Childrens Hospital. He says, "No kid should have to go through this."
