On April 14, he left Arizona for his new job in Chicago - A new chapter in the lives of the Jerusal family, but it was on this journey where the Lord suddenly called him home.
This family is in need of our financial support. These people are my (Holly's) family. Shonnette has lost the love of her life and the four children, their beloved, god-fearing father.
David and I ask for help from our beloved family and friends. Please Repost this for us.
The influence of this wonderful husband and father are seen in the Spiritual integrity of his wife, Shonnette, and their four glorious children. Samantha is a missionary - when she is not pursuing her academics (provided through a full ride scholarship) at Ohio State. Ally, a solid example of a godly young woman is going to school in Tucson, while Trevor, the only boy is pursuing God's call on his life with his father's family and where he grew up, in Chicago. The youngest of this magnificent, God-fearing family is Madison (Maddy). She is here, in Phoenix with her beloved and grieving mom - as she was helping her pack for their transition back to Chicago - where her father, Mark was to begin his new job - today, April 16th.
Since the majority of their life was lived in Chicago, and their home church is there as well, that is where the family will meet and say their final goodbyes - but also celebrate the life of a man whose love for his family was demonstrated in his dedication to their Spiritual growth.
It is our goal to help with the cremation and flights necessary to get the remains and the immediate family to Chicago. The funeral/memorial services will be held at the family church in Chicago on Services will be held for Mark on Friday April 20. Visitation will be at 2pm and the service will begin at 3pm. The visitation and service will be located at Heartland Community Church 1280 S. Alpine Rd.; Rockford, Il. 61108.
We thank you for your support.
Love,
David and Holly T. Ashley - and especially Holly's family.
