Jess Snyder Motorcycle Accident Recovery Fund

Donation protected
On Thursday, July 27th, 2023 Jess was riding her motorcycle in Highland Lakes when she was in a collision with another vehicle. She was medically evacuated by helicopter to Saint Joseph’s Trauma Center in Paterson. Jess has been in critical condition with a brain bleed but is otherwise in stable physical condition. We have already seen significant improvement in the past few days and Jess has been able to transfer from the Surgical ICU to a less medically intensive floor, but we are unsure of when she will be well enough to leave the hospital. However, we are hopeful Jess will keep improving, and ultimately be able to make a full recovery.

With recovery from traumatic brain injury comes many unknowns about the future, especially surrounding mobility as well as if and when Jess will be able to return to work. The prospect of potential home modifications for her to safely return, in addition to building medical expenses while on a limited income, is a large concern to all of us who love Jess. In an effort to alleviate this financial pressure, so that recovery can take precedence, we are asking for donations to assist with necessary environmental modifications and medical expenses incurred from the accident.

Ultimately, we just want Jess and her family to be able to focus on her recovery first and foremost. Any donation you are able to make to assist Jess in this time of significant need will be infinitely appreciated.

An Update as of 8/6/2023: Jess is still in Saint Joseph’s Hospital and she will hopefully be transferring soon to Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation. While Jess has improved significantly, she still has loss of functioning in her cognition and mobility. The Go Fund Me goal amount has been raised to 60k, which is the approximate amount we are told her time in rehabilitation will cost out of pocket.

Thank you to each and every one of you who have already donated and helped spread the word. Any continued donations and shares are greatly appreciated.
