Although human trafficking is something Jessa Dillow Crisp has experienced, she constantly states that she is much more than the things she has experienced. "My past no longer has the power to hold me captive. I am an overcomer, I am a wife, I am a student, I am a professional, I am a speaker, I am an author, I am leader, I am an agent of change, and I am a confident woman who longs to make a difference in society." Global Citizen
Presently, Jessa is working on her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling as a step towards her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology. To get to graduation, she is need of scholarships and financial help.
Not only have she overcome odds and has bravely moved beyond the definition of her past, but she has been able to maintain high academic honors despite many obstacles. Through her degrees, she desires to give back to society and provide professional expertise to non-profits and clinical care to survivors of crime.
