Jesse and David

Hey, St. Bernard! Our good friends and neighbors need our help. If you're from St. Bernard Parish, chances are, you know Jesse Francis and David Colon. They have been in the parish, as hairdressers since the 80s, going all the way back to Hair Tech. Over the last few years, Jesse has had lots of setbacks with his health, just recently breaking his hip and having hip replacement surgery. On top of that- my beautiful carefree friend has just been diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic cancer in his lungs, bones and kidneys.

David, his husband and partner of more than 30 years, has been pulling double duty, being Jesse's round-the-clock care giver AND still trying to work at the salon to cover their living expenses. Both Jesse and David are givers---whether it's giving free haircuts to children in need, donating to all the school fundraisers, or giving in whatever capacity they can to help other people.

I am asking you all to make a donation to this fundraiser to help ease some of their financial burden so David can focus all of his attention on Jesse's care. Whether you give $5 or $500, they will appreciate it more than you will ever know.
