Jesse Goss's Monthly Bills and Medical Expenses

Donation protected

Hi everyone. I Just wanted to give an update from the original gofundme page, on how my son Jesse Goss is doing. It is still one day at a time, and he is now going to the hospital 3-4 times a week for iron infusions twice a week + blood draws and blood infusions as needed depending on how low his blood level has dropped that week. He has needed a few units of blood thus far since being out of the hospital. It's usually given to him one unit at a time to get him out of critically low.

He has lost 76lbs in less than 10 weeks and his clothes no longer fit him, they just hang on him. He is following his very strict Diet and all doctor's orders. He is very happy to be out of the hospital but still lives in fear and is very stressed out as he still has his medical expenses and is having a hard time affording gas to get to his appts, special diet foods and has no money to get clothes that will fit him. He is struggling bad financially and it sounds like it will be close to nine months before SSDI is approved and begins to payout. He is unable to work due to extreme fatigue (he has to sit down and catch his breath from simply walking from his car, up the stairs to the apartment. Thank You so much for the ongoing prayer's and please if anyone can donate to his gofundme page, we would be truly grateful.

Hi, My name is April Wilson, and I have created this Go Fund Me for my son Jesse Goss. Jesse has had it rough for the last four years, and life has gotten relentless, piling on more and more to where I don't know how he can keep a smile on his face. From going through a divorce in 2018 and seeing his daughter daily, to seeing her just six days per month, to being diagnosed with acute liver failure in 2020, he has been in and out of the hospital several times over the last couple of years. His liver seemed to be hanging on until things worsened following catching Covid-19 at the end of 2021. Shortly after, he lost his well-paying job. In 2022 alone, Jesse was hospitalized four times for extended periods. Each time he returns, his liver is worse off with every admittance. He has also begun to experience kidney issues in addition to liver failure. He has been unable to work since March due to these health issues.

On August 24, 2022, he was admitted to Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland for the fifth time. Due to his condition, he has been unable to work and has exhausted his unemployment benefits. This hasn't stopped his monthly bills from accumulating. Jesse has downsized to the bare necessities and is downsizing even more. When an unexpected crisis like this happens, it takes an unbearable financial toll; I wish there were more I could do.

With this current admission to the hospital, the doctors have informed us that he will need a liver transplant ASAP. Without the liver transplant, Jesse's prognosis is not good. Instead of me sharing Jess's experience and struggles with you, I thought it would be best for Jesse to share his expertise with you in his own words.
MESSAGE FROM JESSE:

Thank you to anyone who has taken the time to read this. These last few years have been rough. Ever since I was young, I've put my heart into everything I do. School. Sports. Music. Work. Most importantly, my family.

As my mom said, these last few years have been extremely rough. Due to my health issues, my savings are depleted. My unemployment is depleted. And some days, it's hard to wake up due to stress/pain. Your consideration is everything to me, and every little bit is significantly and extremely helpful! Have a blessed day!
