Jesse Guzman's Medical Fundraiser

Dear Family and Friends,

Jesse and I are asking for your help to send him to St. Luke's Hospital in the Philippines. For those of you who don't know, Jesse was diagnosed with Parkinsonism in 2015 at St. Luke's.

Parkinsonism is a movement-related brain disease that has similar conditions to Parkinson's Disease. In Jesse's case, he experiences tremors and chronic pain that affects his back and legs. This pain makes it difficult to work and rest. His medication is no longer as effective as it was from his first diagnosis and the pain is almost unbearable. Currently, our neurologist on Guam is not able to help him. He needs to see a neurologist who specializes in movement disorder. Our health insurance does not cover this specialist, and because we just started a new fiscal year, he has not met his deductible. This means that he will have to pay out of pocket for his medical needs.

Your donation will help to pay for his flight, lodging, and any other medical expenses that he will need at St. Luke's.
