On Friday, September 6th, our co-worker and dear friend, Madeleine Perez, lost her father, Jesse Perez.
Today, we are raising money so that Madeleine and the Perez family can commemorate and celebrate his life.
Jesse Perez was born in Bakersfield and met Ann at University of San Francisco. He was a father to Madeleine, Daniel, Elisabeth, Therese, Blaise, Jean-Christophe and Jude. He is survived by his wife, Ann and six of his kids.
Jesse loved painting, watching old movies, Star Trek and was remembered as the "Rock". It's been said that with Jesse, you always knew what you were getting. He was known to be loyal, honest and very patient.
Always putting the family first, he showed much love to his wife, kids, parents and siblings (he was one of seven siblings also).
Jesse was very personable, and always made friends easily.
He suffered for years with Parkinson's disease, but he never let it bring down his spirit and his memory will continue to live on.
