Jesse Rooke 2022 Return to Sturgis

Donation protected
Update 7/28/22 I am very sorry anounce this. I, Daniel Rooke, will not be able to be at this years Sturgis Event, I am going to miss the 29th anniversary of my son Jesse rookes first appearance at Sturgis with his first creation, the incredible Dinah. Winner of many shows in 2002, Long Beach Calendar show the first, and seen on the great Discovery TV coverage of the 2002 Sturgis Event.
The LET"S BRING JESSE BACK TO STURGIS IN 2022!! , campaign has not succeeded as hoped, anticipated, what funds have been donated have been sent to Benjamin Victor the artist chosen to depict Jesse for posterity as that was the first goal set out for in the fund drive. Ben Victor acted in good faith and used his own funds to do much initial work on the project and has not as yet been completely made whole for his expenses, unfortunately.
I myself have expended a bit and since I am on a fixed income, and the price of fuel and lack of a suitable trailer to safely transport our sons wonderful build, along with the basic expenses of being in Sturgis for the event. It is simply not possible to complete my hoped for completion of this trip.
I am sorry to disappoint anyone that had special plans to see the Dinah bike, and the unveiling of the monument as we had hoped. Thanks for understanding, God Bless all that did donate, Thank You.
Every dollar counts!! Can you donate $1 or $2, please do it, Thanks be a Friend of Jesse Rooke, forever!!
PLEASE HELP BRING JESSE ROOKE BACK to STURGIS, and create an iconic memorial rest area at 4th and Main St. Featuring a World
class Sculpture and benches.

This project includes a fund for the maintenance for a period of 5 years for the city, longer if funds permit.

Hopefully enough for a Scholarship to a deserving Sturgis area tech school student project in the industrial arts, on a continuing basis,

Possibly a donation to the Scarlett Rooke Trust fund, depending on funds raised. Scarlett was Jesse's only child.

Lastly, if enough funds are raised we would seek to donate a Rooke Customs bike to the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum.

Getting the funds to have the memorial built and unveiled at the 2022 Sturgis Rally is the goal, with your help, It can happen!!

The plans are all drawn up, site is approved, permits granted, and a world class sculptor anxious to begin the work. The corner at 4th and main St in Sturgis will become the site for the lifesize Jesse Rooke Memorial Statue and rest area. Check out the video to see how it will look.

No donated funds will be used for anything other than this memorial project. As the father of Jesse asking for your help, I hope he sees
the value in this project and forgives me for asking all of you, his FRIENDS.
Sturgis 2022 will mark the 20 year anniversary of Jesse's first trip the Sturgis Rally, He brought Dinah, the first motorcycle he ever built.

He loved the people, the atmosphere, the JOY of Riding. He Loved creating the bikes, and HE LOVED STURGIS!!!
It became the focus of his year. He found a family in the motorcycle community, and he was proud to be a member of it, to be accepted into that family and to participate in it.

I believe there are millions of Jesse Rooke fans worldwide who lost a friend when Jesse passed away. I know we feel the loss everyday.
If all of you, the family he loved, join in and just give a dollar or two, $1 or $2, multiplied by those who loved what he did, who want to be counted as friends of Jesse Rooke, this project would be over the top with no problem. YOU have the power to create this tribute to someone who gave all to you. Jesse represented you to the world in his own way of living, and he inspired many of you.
Let's show Jesse Rooke how much he contributed to and inspired so many of US! I know it would bring a smile to his face seeing a large number of people thinking even a little bit about him and what he did.
If anyone individual or business, wants to to donate $100 or more, tax deductible donation directly to the Downtown Stugis foundation Jesse Rooke Statue account.
