Jesse Valdillez

Hello, my name is Ava Barbin-King, and I'm helping Jesse's family raise money for funeral expenses. Jesse Valdillez was a beloved son, father, friend, and coworker. He had started working at La King's Confectionery in March of 2023 and quickly became our treasured "Taffy Man". This job isn't an easy one, it takes physical strength, patience and observation, but the most entertaining part of the job is throwing out the samples of taffy to the faithful customers. When the Taffy Man starts throwing out the candy he connects to someone's family vacation, their own personal memories, that they keep for a lifetime. His death was unexpected, and very shocking, as it happened on his 35th birthday. I'm collecting money on their behalf to cover the costs of the funeral expenses, any extra money that is raised will be given to the remaining family members.
