In the early hours of Sunday morning, January 28th Jessica Anchetta, Paul’s soulmate and Callie’s mommy woke Paul up and said please call 911! Paul jumped into action and called first responders while frantically trying to render aid to his beloved. “She went to sleep and never woke up.” His partner of more than 15 years and mother of his daughter Calliope was gone.

As many as 10 first responders worked on her tirelessly, but we’re unable to get her heart started again.

Paul and Jessica, doting parents have taken turns taking time off from their careers to make sure that their daughter was not raised by babysitters. She could read and write at three to four years old. Calliope has only ever been babysat by her two sets of adoring Grandparents.

The eight of them, Paul, Jessica, Callie, One dog and four cats live in a modest condominium in magnolia. Their focus has always been their precious daughter Calliope. (Callie Belle) So through scrimping on niceties for themselves they were able to raise Callie in a cozy home filled with love and pets! Lots of pets!

Living this way there was never a lot of “extra” money but they were happy and now that Callie is in school full time they looked forward to saving for a house and for Callie’s education.

This unforeseeable change will be financially devastating for Paul and Callie. Our Familes (Ohanas) will of course step up but Now Paul will have to find a way to restart in a tough job market and unbelievable grief. Paul was recently laid off from a non profit. He is always helping others, now it is our turn to help him.

I am asking that you consider helping out any way you can. They will never be homeless, our families are strong and united around them.

The cost of funerals and interment can be as much as 25,000 dollars or more. Jessica will be laid to rest next to her dear brother Ethan in Bellingham. The services will be posted as soon as possible. I set the bar pretty high because beyond their immediate expenses I foresee setting up a college fund and the purchasing of materials to remodel their cramped Condo. I am a GC and will do the work with the help of family members and friends. Callie needs her bedroom completed and everything has fallen into disrepair as money has always been tight.

Please help us give them a base to start over with. Paul is a devoted father first and a very hard worker who should be a teacher if we can get him certified. he has his undergrad from the UW.

We will do the best we can but most of you know what it costs to raise a child. One income in Seattle is tough and the last thing we want to do is uproot Callie.

I thank you if you have read this far. We will consider any amount monumental. We know there are a lot of hands out and we are just asking you to do what you can. Anything will be immensely appreciated and will not go unnoticed.
