Jessica Deese

   Jessica is a sweet young lady just getting started on her own. She was set to move into her first home while working full time and attending nursing school.  On weekends she serves in the nursery at our church. Breathing life, joy, and most of all Jesus into the little lives she touches. 

    Tuesday before Thanksgiving, Jessica noticed a black dot in her vision field on the right eye, by Thanksgiving the spot had grown to obscure most of her line of sight.  December 5th, she was seen by an optometrist, was told her eyes looked healthy but was referred to another provider. The second provider did another exam with the same conclusion, eyes were healthy but could not find the cause of the vision changes.  Jessica was told to go to Vanderbilt ER right away.
 
    On December 8th she went to the ER with a loss of vision in both eyes; 80% in one and 45% in the other. Multiple scans at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN have shown a tumor the size of an orange. Jessica will need to have at least two different brain surgeries and numerous tests before she is able to come home. 

    This news would be devastating to most but Jessica and her family are standing on their solid faith and believing in complete healing by the Father. No one should have to go through something like this during their lifetime but we can help lift some of the burdens by helping with medical expenses along the way. Every little bit helps and I will ensure that every penny goes to Jessica.
