Jessica Jennings Breast Cancer Journey
Donation protected
There comes a time when a person needs to step outside their comfort zone and ask for help; that time is now. Those who know Jessica know what an amazing person and mother she is. Now, as her friends and family, it’s our turn to give back. Jessica is 36 years old and a mom to her 12-year-old son Rylan. Many may or may not know that Jessica was diagnosed with Stage II Breast Cancer with the BRCA1 gene mutation in March 2021. In April 2021, she had lymph node biopsies and a port installed to prepare for Chemo. Chemo started in April 2021 and lasted until September 2021. Also, during the chemo, she developed an infection at the site of the lymph node removal that required two more additional surgeries. Then in December 2021, Jessica had a double mastectomy with immediate breast reconstruction. In January 2022, she developed lymphedema in her arm and had to start physical therapy. So that brings us to Now, July 2022. Jessica is scheduled for a complete hysterectomy on July 22.
Cancer takes a tremendous toll financially and emotionally. Jessica has not been able to work since this journey started and will still not be able to work until September. She needs time to rest and heal her body. We ask for help to ease her financial burden and worry, so our friend Jessica can recover without fear or stress. She is so deserving of all that life has to offer. Now, it is our turn to give back. We ask that you provide to Jessica what makes sense for you, and in so giving, may you know that you have helped ease her mind and heart. We are so grateful for your contribution.
Also, we hope you’ll share this page with your communities and spread the word. And finally, please remember to check yo’ titties! Early detection can make a massive difference, as it did for Jessica!
