Jessica Jha-- this is a tough season of her life

So, 2020 sucks. No mistake - for everybody. but there's one person that we all know that's had kind of a rough go of it these last couple years. If you're friends with Jessica on Facebook, she's been pretty vocal about the trials and tribulations of this season of her life. After the devastating relationship, and then losing custody of her children through no fault of her own, from the continuing degenerative struggles that are related to her MS, to the very recent seizure episode which led to a total of her car  and loss of license... Jessica's just had a rough go of it. All that understandably has impacted her mental health, and thank goodness she found someone that she can count on to help her through and love her back to solid ground. 

But all of this has compounded and taken a toll on our dear Jessica. I can't imagine the weight on her shoulders. This time of year is especially hard and stressful for all parents, let alone ones that can't be with their littles. Most recently, she showed a post said that she can't afford her medicine - both her physical and mental health medicine. Not until January at some point will she have the money through insurance.

I just don't think that's right. I don't think it's okay that we have a classmate in need and we don't try to help. Regardless of whether you were friends with her in high school or she was just some chick that you passed in the hall, she hurts, she's in need and it's time to answer the call. Whatever you can give, I know people are stretched really thin at this time of year. Whatever you can give I am grateful for and I know that she will be grateful to you as well. We went to a Catholic school that preached service, caring for your fellow neighbor, and looking out for those in need. Jessica's in need. Now what are we going to do about it?
