Walking 411 miles for Jessica Joy
Our brave little 5 year old girl Jessica was
unfortunately diagnosed with an aneurysm in her brain last year. This alongside a previous
bleed in her brain and other areas of concern
it appears that she has a very rare genetic
syndrome and possible progressive brain
disease.
Jessica is a brave little girl who battles
symptoms of this everyday! She is our ray of
sunshine ☀️
Aaron her brother and I are going to walk the equivalent of Ayr to Great Ormond Street
Hospital which totals to 411 miles.
Aaron had this idea for his brave sister to try
to raise funds for both Glasgow’s Neurology
Department and Great Ormond St Hospital to
fund research into Jessica’s conditions.
Starting from 1/2/21 and covering both
February and March we will walk around 7
miles each day to raise funds to help with
awareness of Jessica’s conditions.
Jessica’s journey has been a long one and we
continue everyday to find answers and
doctors who can help her. With very little
research into childhood aneurysms and
associated brain disease we are desperate to
help raise money and awareness to prevent
other families from having to go through what
we as a family have while trying to help our
daughter.
Jessica is our Brave Little Bear and we will do whatever we can to help her. We will walk the miles and when she can Jessica will join us in
her wheelchair and we will share our miles
with you.
Thank you for your support
