Jessica Langseth, Wife & Mother of 6 Children

Life is filled with unexpected events that can change our lives in the blink of an eye.

With that being said, thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for taking the time to click this gofundme link. My name is Kaylee Langseth, it took a lot of convincing on my end to put this fundraiser together for my cousin Jessica, her husband Anthony & their 6 children. Current unexpected health issues have set the family back, mentally, emotionally & financially.

With my cousins permission I am able to share the last year of their lives with you.

March 2024 will mark the year that my cousin’s(Jessica & Casey Langseth) father unexpectedly passed away.

At this current time Jessica had started dealing with Severe health issues that were put to the side while she was grieving the loss of her father & supporting her children in the loss of their grandpa.

Her minor symptoms of discomfort turned intolerable & routine doctor appointments turned into 5 different specialties treating the unknown here in Sioux City.

The last 11 months have looked like this for Jessica.

Profuse rectal bleeding with clots, severe abdominal pain and nausea. Which has caused her to become anemic and severely iron deficient, requiring iron transfusions and visits to, June E Nylan for hope of more answers, while checking to see if she may have a rare blood disorder. Dizziness & being light headed made it so she couldn’t even cook a meal without almost passing out or being able to stand for long periods of time. It truly has crippled her whole life as a mother who works full time because of the heart palpitations and complete brain disorientation.

So after 5 different doctors in Sioux City, 3 different surgeries we fast forward to this week. Jessica is currently in Omaha & has seen 5 more doctors, is scheduled for another surgery tomorrow morning.

With the unexpected news & now being admitted in Omaha this is why a gofundme is truly a necessity for this family. Her husband Anthony is holding down the fort like a trooper but these trips back and forth & stays in Omaha will get expensive.

Her oldest son just graduated high school and is attending trade school, her 2nd oldest daughter just got accepted to UNL and will be starting this year. That leaves her 4 littles at home who are very active in extra cuticular activities & have school. She currently is on medical leave from her employer & her husband has missed countless days taking care of her.

Jessica is the most giving, loving, nurturing woman. No matter what life throws at her she will show up for the ones she loves. With the amount of uncertainty her and her family are facing at this time I am asking for your help to take some of the financial burden off them. She is still grieving the loss of her father, unknown medical issues, and missing out on her kiddos life.
