Hi everyone, my name is Angelina Smith,

This is a difficult thing to write. My beautiful, strong, courageous sister is battling a nasty, aggressive disease that we suddenly became aware of. Our world has been turned upside down so her family and friends are coming together to help her fight this battle. She is a daughter, sister, friend, cousin, niece, confidant, shoulder to cry on, life of the party, smart, sarcastic, and beautiful soul who many of you know in your own special way.

Jessica Lobato was diagnosed with stage 4 Cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer); a rare and aggressive disease that has metastasized (spread) throughout her body.

We are actively pursuing a 2nd opinion and any chance that there is still a different treatment approach we have not tried. While we are still holding out for miracles, we have now come to the point in this illness where we have to prepare for what may happen next, and trying to make Jessica as comfortable as possible and help the family with the future expenses that come with Terminal illness.

We ask please DO NOT CONTACT JESSICA. She is processing and dealing with too much and is not to be disturbed. We are a family of faith, and know that God is a God of miracles. We want to actively pursue anything available that might help our girl because none of us are ready to let go.
