Jessica Romey Ring Urgent Surgery and Medical Care Support

Hi, my name is Jessica Ring Romey and my family and I are fundraising to pay for:

1) Life saving surgery needed for ASAP (summer 2024). (cost yet unknown)

2) Emergency room and ambulance costs for 2023-24, medical bills/copays/medications/insurance coverage. 4k

2) Hire a much needed care-giver, wheelchair transport, and house-helper- this may allow me to heal from repeat infections, heart issues, and prevent more palliative care or hospice. This is especially going to be crucial post-surgery. -4k

The care provided from initial funds helped me survive fall and winter into spring.

3)Alternative Treatments, travel costs, specialty rare genetics clinics, medicines , and mobility tools not covered by insurance. 4k

My dream is surgery and other medical support will allow my return to outer life, let me see friends and family, distillation community offer better mobility and health, giving me a buffer to heal.

I have been using a wheelchair off and on for Marfans Syndrome for 4 years and for most of this period have not been able to leave my home due to lack of caregiver, palliative care isolation/bed rest, and lack of handicap /wheelchair access in home. I had to leave my home suddenly in spring 2023 due to extreme black mold exposure causing lung collapse and very dangerous infections.

I used 2023 funds to get to a place with better ADA access and clean air, and am recovering in many ways but am still in need of rapid medical intervention requiring multiple surgical specialists.
