Jessica Zito's treatment

Hello family and friends,

As some of you know, my mother, Jessica Zito was diagnosed with head and neck cancer in April of this year. She dove into researching various treatment options and has wholly altered her lifestyle, and these changes have included conventional and non-conventional medicine.

In June, Jess underwent surgery and had significant complications. She has spent every day since surgery building herself up and becoming stronger for her next phase of treatment which is radiation.

One of my mom’s treatments is the hyperbaric chamber. My mom has been using this faithfully since she was diagnosed. Her oncologist recommends she continues using it throughout her radiation to minimize significant effects. My mother’s oncologist is very open-minded and believes that without this treatment, she may have more setbacks. Unfortunately, insurance does not cover this treatment until after radiation damage has been done. It was an exorbitant cost to rent the machine for only three months, and her contract runs out before her start of radiation

As most of you know, my mom is a nurse who has dedicated her life to her family and patients. She has always put the needs of others before her own. Now she needs help to heal and continue her good work.
