Jessicas Fight against Non Hodgkin Lymphoma

Hi, I’m Jessica Dykstra and thank you for taking the time to listen to my story.    In early 2019, I hairline fractured my femur.  Unfortunately, at the time, I didn’t have health insurance, so I didn’t go to the hospital.  I did not receive any treatment at all.  I assumed it was a sprain and was told that if I stayed off of my leg 4-6 weeks, it would heal it would heal itself.  That was very wrong.  I eventually went and got an MRI.  Unfortunately, the results found a mass inside my femur. The first biopsy came back inconclusive but the doctor suspected lymphoma.  I was scared and confused so I went for a second opinion.   I then went to a specialist at the University of Miami for a second biopsy where they confirmed I developed B-cell lymphoma.  At that time, I was told chemo was my only option!   I was even more scared and confused!  I had no one to lean on and simply started researching everything I can about the illness.  I learned about the treatment options, the side affects and how to prepare myself mentally for the worst.   I then read about a holistic treatment option that focuses on injecting Vitamin C into your blood stream.  I quickly began treatment of 35,000 mgs megadoses of vitamin c IVs for 7 days every month.  It has helped me enormously! Since starting treatment, the tumor shrunk from 8.8 cm to 8.1 cm and has stopped spreading (Thank God).  I know that these results are directly related to the treatments, I can literally feel it in my body!  I need to continue these vitamin C IVs, purchase the necessary supplements, and cover all my current & future doctor bills.  However, insurance does not cover these sort of treatments and I can no longer continue to afford the treatment.    I’m truly shocked & beyond thankful how the treatment was able to shrink the tumor and keep the inflammation out of my body.  I have spent every dollar to my name and am totally alone in my battle.  As embarrassing as it is to ask for support, I no longer have any other option.  I want to continue to live and be happy & healthy.  I truly appreciate anyone reading this!   Any donations are truly appreciated and if you are unable to donate, please simply share my story.   Thank you so much and always check on yourself!
