Jessica's Journey to Palestine

Many of you know how much mission and outreach work with Covenant Presbyterian Church has impacted my life and how being involved in local and global outreach efforts has shaped my worldview. This October, I will join a team from Charlotte that will travel to Palestine to walk alongside Covenant’s mission partners in the Holy Land. With the goal of learning and growing in our compassion and understanding of one another, we will visit Tomorrow’s Youth Organization , Dar Al-Kalima University , and Tent of Nations . We will learn about the ways Tomorrow’s Youth Organization is supporting women and children in refugee camps, discover firsthand how Dar Al-Kalima University is educating future generations of creative leaders in Palestine and the Middle East, and assist the Nassar family with the olive harvest and other farming projects at Tent of Nations, a small family farm with a powerful mission to build a bridge between people and connect them to the land.

To cover the cost of my journey, I am working to raise $1,600.
