Jessica's Transition costs

Hello, my name is Jessica a 32-year-old trans woman, I socially came out as trans in 2021, I started my medical transition in 2022, and in august 2024 marked my 2 years on hrt, I have had to go private, as the waiting list is a very long time to be seen for any help with regards to being trans.

I am on the NHS waiting list, it's looking like another 3 - 4 years wait, this just to be seen regards my gender dysphoria, it would be an extra wait for regards GRS surgery.

Of course going private comes at a huge price, I pay a monthly fee to my hormone clinic, attend therapy, and much more I also have on going laser hair on my face and chest.

I am so grateful that I raised enough funds through my gofundme & I held my own event to raise money for my vocal feminization surgery, this surgery went ahead on the 7th March, my voice is sounding amazing & I am so grateful, it really has brought on so much gender affirming expriences and really happy with it how I am feeling.

My mental health has got alot better in this process.

I am now taking my next steps in treating my gender dysphoria, I have my had my assessment for GRS with Tina Rashid and good to go ahead but first I need to cover the costs of this surgery the cost is around 23K of course there will be more costs for the mental health assessments etc

But this is a huge step in my journey in feeling complete, and myself.
