Jessie's Gender Affirming Top Surgery

Hi friends! For those of you that don't know me, my name is Jessie Simon and I am raising funds for living expenses during my top surgery recovery period. I am a 32 year old pre-testosterone, pre-op trans guy who (after many years of therapy) finally came out publicly this year. Several of my close friends have known for quite some time, and have witnessed the pain/extreme discomfort that I've experienced growing up in a body and a role that did not feel like my own. As soon as puberty hit, the dysphoria was almost unbearable (chest dysphoria being a huge part of this). I experienced severe depression, eating disorders and self-harm; while trying to figure out why I was so profoundly miserable and why I couldn't bear to look in the mirror.

Fast-forward to today... I am thrilled to finally be living authentically and beginning my transition into a body/life that I can say I'm happy to call my own. My top surgery will be an integral part of this process which is scheduled for January 5th. I am very blessed to have insurance covering the cost of the operation. However, the initial recovery will be about a month long and I will be unable to work during this time. I am asking for your support with whatever monetary contribution you are able/willing to spare.
