Jessie's Fire Recovery Effort

At 3 AM on August 31st, my Aunt Jessie's apartment started to fill with smoke and fire. She luckily was awoken by the sound of shattering glass but her apartment was engulfed in flames. She ran out as fast as she could, grabbing only her cat, and luckily made it to safety as her whole apartment burnt to the ground due to an electrical fire. She tried to put out the fire with her fire extinguisher but was unable to activate it due to her degenerative arthritis. 

Before this fire, she was confined to her apartment nearly full time primarily due to health issues so this more than just housing loss for her.

Not only did she lose everything she loved/collected over the years in that apartment, but it she also lost necessities including medications, money, her phone, her car keys, and her clothes. 

For those of you who know my Aunt, you know that her vintage collection was her pride and joy. Not only that, but all of the memories including pictures, drawings by her nieces and letters she has collected over the years are all destroyed.

She is currently staying with her brother but needs to repurchase everything from underwear to life-saving medications. 

Any little amount you can donate will help... For those of you who know my Aunt you know that her whole world revolved around that apartment so please help us get some part of her life back to normal.
