Jess's Skydive for Middlesbrough Life Services
Donation protected
Hi Everyone,
My name is Jess, I’m 22 years old and I am taking part in a Sky Dive on Saturday 19th August 2023.
I have got a degree in law with policing, and I coach 3 evenings a week at Stainsby Gymnastics as a tumbling coach where I use to attend myself.
I chose a career in the care sector as I wanted a new challenge and make a difference to help people with differing needs.
I work full time as a support worker for a CIC charity based in Berwick Hills Middlesbrough called "Middlesbrough Life Services". It is a fantastic centre to work at and the members and staff are truly all amazing.
I am raising funds to go towards new windows in our MLS centre.
It is so important to me as Middlesbrough Life Services is a place where people with differing needs come to spend the day learning new skills and establishing friendships.
It is a safe space where people can learn to grow and flourish, a warm, inclusive social space where people be themselves without fear of judgement or disapproval.
We work with the ethos of providing a safe, nurturing, supportive environment where people can learn to set their own boundaries and develop their practical and emotional skills.
Monies raised will be used to buy new windows, and this will help with the heating costs and safety in our centre. As well as reducing the costs of the centre we will be reducing our carbon footprint.
"Donors make small dreams turn into big realities”.
"Even the smallest gift to charity can make a huge impact.”
"The efforts of one person can't move mountains. It's the strength of us all working together that makes a change”.
Thank you everyone.
