Jess Goes to Copenhagen

So many of you know, my passion is to create a better Columbus.  To me, this means a city that everyone can enjoy (walking, biking, wheel-chairing, stroller-ing, etc) Cities designed around people, not cars, creates a quality of life that we all want.  

I have the opportunity to join 19 other individuals from around the work for 'The Master Class' in Copenhagen, Denmark on June 21-23, 2015.  This GoFundMe pays for the 3-day workshop.  You can't get anymore 'hands on' than inserting yourself and experiencing first-hand, what the most bicycle-friendly, 'humanized' city in the world feels like and how it came to be.

You all know that when I put my mind to something, nothing stops me.  You helped me get to Los Angeles last year and last year we successfully held our fist 'Open Streets Columbus' initiative.  In 2015, 'Open Streets Columbus' plans to grow from one to two events.

I'm pumped to represent our great city.  The bicycle is the most important tool in our urban toolboxes for rebuilding our Life-Sized Cities.  I look forward to sharing the knowledge consumed from this incredible opportunity with elected officials, city staff and residents, and continue to create a city we all want to live, work, and play in.
