Help Ukrainian intl law students compete in DC! Jessup 2025

Hi, my name is Jessica and I'm a volunteer co-coach for one of the top two Ukrainian law student teams competing in this year's 2025 Jessup International Law Moot in Washington, D.C. These brilliant, strong young Ukrainian law students deserve a chance to represent their country at this world-renowned international law competition - showcasing their skills as advocates, the depth of their research, and most of all, their dedication to international law as a worthy pursuit.

The Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, also known as the Jessup Moot or The Jessup, is the oldest and largest international moot competition in the world, attracting participants from almost 700 law schools in around 100 countries.

These young students have worked tirelessly for the last year to prepare for this intense international law competition - and they are ready! They've studied during daily air attacks in closets and basement shelters, dealt with power outages during attacks to civilian energy infrastructure, faced challenges of occupation of their homeland, and lived as internally displaced persons, or as refugees far from home. Your donation will go to pay for flights, train fare, hotels and accommodation, meals, insurance and visas for the students and their dedicated volunteer coaches. Detailed bios for each participant and a budget are provided in the slides below.

Ukraine's top two law student teams will step onto the international stage in March-April 2025, competing among the best law students from countries around the world - and they need your help.
