In Memory of Jesus “Chuy” Gutierrez

Hi, my name is Dianna, a friend of the Gutierrez family, and I’m creating this Gofundme for the family of Chuy Gutierrez.

Chuy passed gently January 18, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family. Chuy and his wife of 49 years, Kathy, moved to Arizona two years ago to live with their daughter, Marisa, and her family. After an illness several years ago, Chuy has struggled with failing health and has required the help of his family for daily life tasks. He recently suffered two strokes which initiated his recent decline and necessitated his entrance to hospice care. The family needs help with the funeral and medical costs. Chuy will be returning to California for his final interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Cypress, the date of which is not yet determined. Chuy, who was 70, was the father of three children, grandfather of 7 and great-grandfather of 3, and will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Please help this family - no amount is too small. They have spent years caring for Chuy and sacrificed so much, and are now faced with some pretty daunting bills. They are wonderful people and so very deserving of your help. I know they will be so grateful to have this financial burden lifted from their shoulders.
