Jesus Ortega Memorial Fund

Jesus Ortega was a loving husband, father, uncle, son, brother, grandfather, and friend. Words fall short to capture his true essence. He was an amazing human being with a light that is rare to come across. Jesus was the man of the house, the cool uncle, the party starter, the family man, the one who was always there willing to lend a hand. 

Sadly, Jesus left this earth just a day before father's day this past weekend. While celebrating and enjoying the day with his family, Jesus collapsed to the ground while playing soccer and became unresponsive. Despite attempting to bring him back for several minutes, there was nothing to be done. 
He leaves behind his wife, his beautiful daughters, his son and his four grandchildren.

When dealing with such heartache in a sudden situation that is still hard to believe, funeral expenses should be the last thing on someone's mind. The Ortega family thanks everyone for reaching out, showing up and for their ongoing support through this difficult time. A light from our household is gone, a place is vacant in our hearts, but his love and his memory will live with us forever.

Jesús Ortega era un amoroso padre, esposo, tío, hijo, hermano, abuelo y amigo. Las palabras quedan cortas para describir su verdadera esencia. Era un ser humano espectacular, con una luz que es difícil de encontrar. Era el hombre de la casa, el tio mas chido, el que empezaba la fiesta y siempre ofrecía un buen consejo y ayuda para quien lo necesitara. 

Trágica y repentinamente, Jesús falleció este pasado fin de semana, un dia antes del dia del padre. Mientras celebraba su dia, jugando fútbol y distrutando con su familia, Jesús simplemente colapsó al piso y ya no reaccionó. A pesar de intentarlo por mucho tiempo, no hubo más que hacer. Deja atrás a su esposa, sus hijas, su hijo y sus cuatro nietos. 

Durante este momento difícil, lo último en la mente de la familia debería ser la preocupación sobre gastos fúnebres. La familia Ortega les agradece todo su apoyo en este momento difícil. Una luz de nuestra casa se apagó y dejo un hueco en nuestros corazones, pero su amor y su memoria vivirán siempre con nosotros.
