AMERICAN LEGION POST 1111 writes: With tremendous sadness and broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved member Jesús Sanabria.
There are no words we can say to take the pain away, but please know our thoughts and prayers are with the Sanabria family. We pray for comfort and healing in the days ahead of this unimaginable sorrow. May the memories of Jesús surround you and give you strength in the days ahead as he will be greatly missed.
Jesús Sanabria was a charter member of American Legion Post 1111 and served as the Jr. Vice Commander and the Chaplain for the post. He also served at the District level as the 2nd Jr. Vice Commander.
FAMILY TO JESUS SANABRIA writes: Thank you!
Rest assure that as you serve him now in legacy as an American Legion Post, we are collaborating closely with Linda his wife regarding the funeral arrangements. From us his family in Chicago, Arizona and Puerto Rico, to his friends of the Post, veterans who shared with him and friends in life, many, many expressions of gratitude. We know we will all continue to cherish his tall tales, laughter, charm, wit and loving sincerity.
Because the Bible tells us that when we are absent from the body we are present with the Lord, we thank God for his receivership into paradise. He earned his wings by having faith in God and through his good works to humanity as a Chaplain, husband, father, grandad, uncle, brother and Vietnam War hero. He did the best he could with what little he had.
ADIOS HERMANO QUERIDO. TE AMAMOS PARA SIEMPRE.
