Uganda Missions Trip

My name is Dave and I'm going on my first missions trip at the age of 66!
Now that I'm retired, I have more time to dedicate to helping others and serving the Lord. My friend Mark is leading a group on a trip to Uganda in October and I'm going to join him to help in any way that I can. We expect to be telling people about Jesus and showing the love of Christ in practical ways, too.
One of the methods we anticipate helping the people in Uganda is by fixing machinery and household items. Tools are hard to come by, so if I exceed the necessary funds for the trip, I plan on buying as many Leatherman multi tools as possible to give to the friends I make while I'm there.
If you want to support me as I get ready to go to
Uganda, please PRAY for me, first and foremost. Pray that my health will be excellent leading up to and during the trip. Pray that the hearts of the people we will meet will be open to hearing more about Christ. Pray that we will be effective and that many would be saved.
