Jet Stream Jax Harvey Relief Fund
Donation protected
On Friday August 25th, Hurrican Harvey made landfall as a Cat4 Hurricane in Port Aransas/Rockport, TX. The aftermath for the Houston area has been absolutely devastating as the storm stopped moving and Houston got pounded with the "dirty" side of the storm. In a matter of hours, the Houston area recieved anywhere from 20-25 inches of rain filling all bayous, retention ponds, creeks, and other outlets, causing catastrophic and life-threatening flooding.
The Friendswood community has been hit hard as Cowards Creek and Clear Creek filled and flooded homes. Many have had to be rescued as their homes filled or were already seeking help from their rooftops. There are many who are still waiting to get out of their homes.
Dirk van Reenen, Jet Stream Jax's dad, and a resident of Friendswood, TX was out on Sunday, August 27th showing the devestation and rescuing people by kayak. You can check out the videos here .
Now, it's time to step in and do what we do best, help our community. We are asking for funds ASAP to purchase supplies and aid in continuing rescue efforts specifically for the Friendswood/Bay Area. We have a hub for supplies at Bryan and Bryan Coaching Center: 105 E Spreading Oaks Ave, Friendwood, TX 77546.
This will go DIRECTLY to the community, you can be assured!
THANK YOU!
