Jeter Lawrence’s Road to Recovery After Bull Riding Accident
On January 25, 2025, PRCA bull rider Jeter Lawrence, a talented bull rider and rising star in the rodeo community, sustained severe injuries during a bull riding accident in Oklahoma City. The incident left him with major head trauma, a fractured forehead, a broken eye socket, and a broken nose. Currently in the ICU, Jeter is starting to show signs of progress, but his recovery is expected to be a long and challenging journey.
As a professional PRCA bull rider, Jeter's livelihood depends on his ability to compete. Unfortunately, when a rider is unable to perform, they don’t get paid. The Lawrence family, known for their strength and humility, would never ask for assistance, but the rodeo community has always been there to support its own in times of need.
Jeter’s remarkable talent and dedication were on full display during his phenomenal rookie season in 2024, and he was poised for even greater achievements in 2025. Loved by many, Jeter has made a lasting impression on those who have had the pleasure of watching him ride. It’s clear that none of us want him to face any additional stress while he focuses on his recovery. We want to ensure that Jeter can take the time he needs to heal fully and return to the sport he loves.
The rodeo community is coming together to provide support for Jeter and his family during this difficult time. We are sharing this message with the hope that you’ll join us in helping Jeter on his road to recovery. Your contributions will provide financial relief, allowing him to focus on regaining his strength and eventually getting back to doing what he does best: riding bulls.
Let’s show Jeter that the rodeo family stands strong together, not just in the arena, but in times of need as well.
